The admission exam result for UG and PG programs, B.Des, M.Des, MFM, MFT, and BFT, held on February 5, 2023, will be released by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). 23,000 applicants took the NIFT entrance exam for the UG and PG programs at NIFT. NIFT will use the CAT, GAT, and Situation test (GD/PI) result to create the final merit list. The GD and PI rounds were open to applicants who scored more than the admission exam cut-off.

Candidates who sat the exam can now access the official website to view their NIFT results 2023. To view their results, candidates will need their login information. Candidates should download the results because the NIFT counseling process will require them. 

NIFT Answer Key 2023

After the exam, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the NIFT 2023 answer keys. The NIFT 2023 official website will provide a download link for the answer keys on the official portal. After the exam, candidates taking the NIFT 2023 exam can keep their GAT question papers. Only the General Ability Test answer keys for NIFT 2023 will become available (GAT).

NIFT will not announce the Creative Ability Test (CAT) answer keys. Candidates can determine their selection by comparing their answers to the published answer key. Candidates will have limited time to file objections if they discover discrepancies in the NIFT answer key. The fee to object is Rs 500 per question.

NIFT Merit List 2023

After the official NIFT result announcement, the NIFT Merit List 2023 becomes available. The candidates’ ranks, marks, and categories get considered when creating the NIFT merit list. The results of the Situation Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), and Personal Interview rounds will determine the NIFT 2023 Merit List (as applicable).

A separate NIFT merit list will become available for those who fall under the foreign national, NRI, SAARC, OCI, domicile categories and those who fall under other categories, such as general, OBC, SC/ST, etc.

NIFT Entrance Result 2023

Candidates who passed the first stage of the NIFT 2023 Exam will participate in a second round, including a situation test, group discussion, and personal interview. Following are a few points that students should be aware of:

• The applicants must provide their personal information, including their NIFT roll number, date of birth, program, question booklet series number, and more.
• Students must pay a fee of INR 500 to object to a question.
• The candidate will receive a refund for that question if they file a correct one. The question or answer will change after verification.
• The candidate’s refund will take place via RTGS to the account they used to register for the exam on the NIFT website.
• Candidates can only object to the answer key online. 
• Candidates will not receive a refund for a wrong objection.
