The ranking is given through a cumulative method on the basis of 52 weeks. The Association’s criteria to conclude the rank is by looking at the 16 tournaments played in singles and 11 of the doubles type.

The computer that calculates the scores and then lists the players is given the nickname ‘Medusa.’ They also list the players as per the week’s best and the world’s best. For the men’s ranking, ATP Ranking, there is another organisation called the Association of Tennis Professionals that is for men’s professional tennis.
