WCL Recruitment Notification 2023
Western Coalfields Limited has released its notification for the recruitment of 135 posts in Technical & Supervisory Grade C and in Technical & Supervisory Grade B underground coal mines and open cast mines. Eligible and interested candidates are invited to fill out the online application. WCL is a mini Ratna company and a subordinate of Coal India Limited. This recruitment is released for the post of Mining Sirdar & Surveyor. The candidates can check the notification to read in detail about this recruitment. The total vacancies for this are 135, of which 107 are for Mining Sirdar, and 28 are for Surveyor.
To apply online, we have provided the link to the official website. For the unreserved and OBC category candidates, a fee of Rs. 1180 will be charged. There will be no fee for the candidates of categories SC, ST, PWD and ESM. Also, the departmental candidates will not have to pay any fee.
WCL Recruitment Exam Form 2023
A candidate older than 18 years and not more than 30 is eligible to fill out the recruitment form. For the post of Mining Sirdar, a candidate must be 10th pass, and he should have a valid certificate of mining sirdar issued by DGMS, or he should have a diploma in Mining.
Also, a certificate of Overman Competency and Gas Testing issued by DGMS and a First Aid certificate. For the post of Surveyor, you should have matriculation and a certificate of competency in a survey issued by DGMS or a diploma in mine surveying. A Surveyor certificate is a must to fill out the form for the post of Surveyor.
The application form is available on the official website, so to fill out the form, a candidate should visit it first. On the homepage, click on career and then recruitment. On this page, you will see the link to the notification of this recruitment, under which apply link is available.
You will be redirected to another page where you have to click on the new registration. Some details regarding you will be asked, after filling click on register. Now log in to your account and fill in some more details and upload the documents. If applicable, you have to pay the application fee, and your application will be complete. Download this application form or take a printout for future reference.

The notification for this recruitment was published on 19 January, and the registration process has been started on 21 January. The last date for this application form is 10 February, so all the eligible candidates who want to register for this should not wait for the last date as the website can have a technical glitch on that day. Candidates will be excited to know that the salary for both these posts is Rs. 31852.56 and 34391.65 per month. So you should prepare well for the written exam, which will have 100 questions of 1 mark each and will be completed in one hour and 30 minutes.

Unreserved and EWS category candidates will need at least 50 marks to clear this examination, OBC candidates will need 45, and SC/ST categories will need 40. The syllabus is mentioned in the official notification.
