WB TET Application Form 2023

WB TET Eligibility 2023
Educational Qualification:
For Primary Level (Classes I to V) – Nominees must have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a two-year D.El.Ed or four years B.El.Ed or two years Diploma in Education.
For Upper Primary Level (Classes VI to VIII) – Nominees must have a Graduation and a two-year D.El.Ed or a one-year B.Ed or two-year B.Ed in Special Education.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be at least 18 to be eligible for the exam. There is no upper age limit for WB TET.
Nationality:
Candidates must be Indian citizens and residents of West Bengal.
Relaxation:
Reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PH will receive the relaxation in age limit and educational qualification as per government norms.
WB Teacher Eligibility Test Selection Process
The WB TET 2023 selection process consists of two stages:
Written Exam: The main stage is a written exam that applicants must pass to reach the second level. To qualify, applicants must score at least 60% on MCQs in the written exam.
