The Bollywood action film Vikram Vedha, starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, has broken all the records as it collects around Rs.10.58 Crore on its first day. The film has surpassed the blockbuster hits Brahmastra and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. On its second day, it earns a collection of Rs. 12.51 crores.
The film is directed by Pushkar-Gayathri and is a Hindi remake of the blockbuster Tamil movie Vikram Vedha (2017), starring R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.

Vikram Vedha Review
Vikram Vedha has received two stars from the critics and was called a “lousy remake of the original.” Apart from the critic ratings, the film received love and good reviews from the audience. It is a neo-noir action thriller film that creates excitement among the viewers. The movie is about an honest police officer from Lucknow Central Vikram and a Gangster known as Vedha.
Vikram, the police officer, is allotted a mission to arrest the gangster Vedha. The story starts when the gangster turns himself in to the police. He starts telling stories to the police officer during the interrogation, and the stories own themselves a judgment of good or evil.
The film’s story is based on the Hindu mythical tale of Vikram and Betaal. The actors, Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan, performed well in their roles. Saif’s role as an honest police officer is calm and quite mysterious. But the charisma and acting skills of Hrithik cannot be denied. He steals the movie with his charm and acting skills.
The songs are also quite good. The song ‘Alcoholia’, with Hrithik’s dancing skills and Ganesh Hegde’s choreography, is significantly praised by the viewers. The screenplay is simple and entertaining. The dialogues are well written and performed. Overall, the film is quite good and will make your money worth it.

The film starred Saif Ali Khan as an honest police officer, Vikram, from the Lucknow police department, while Hrithik Roshan plays the role of, Vedha, a gangster. The film also casts Radhika Apte as Priya wife of Vikram. Although the part of the actress is relatively small but it is meaningful. Actors like Rohit Saraf, Sharib Hashmi, Satyadeep Misra, and Yogita Bihani are also seen in supporting roles. The hit action thriller movie Vikram Vedha, directed by Pushkar and Gayathri, is a high-budget film. Approx. 175 crore rupees has been spent on the making of the film. In which around 100 crore rupees have been spent on production and around 75 crore rupees have been spent on advertising and promotion.
The film earns a total of Rs.10.58 crore on its first day of release. Out of which Rs.3.19 crore from Mumbai, Rs 2.20 crore from Delhi, Rs.91 lakh from East Punjab, Rs.81 lakh from West Bengal, Rs.27 lakh from CI, Rs.39 lakh from CP, and Rs.42 lakh from Rajasthan has been collected.
The movie received a two-star rating from Sumit Kadel, a film critic and trade analyst. He said- “Hritik Roshan’s swag and charm can be seen on screen, but his charisma couldn’t overpower the weak writing.. Saif Ali Khan delivers a restraint act. Pushkar Gayatri is not up to the mark; they failed to replicate their original version despite the same storytelling.” He also called the film a lousy remake of the original.
