T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be played from June 2024 to July 2024. The matches are scheduled to be played in the United States of America and the West Indies. The United States of America is organizing the ICC tournament in their home ground for the first time. The ICC has not officially announced the matches’ schedule, venue, and fixtures. Host Selection for T20 World Cup 2024
In 2021, the ICC announced that the host country for the T20 World Cup 2024 would be the United States and the West Indies. Later on, the countries presented a joint bid mentioning the strategy to ICC, and ICC approved it. Therefore, the host of the T20 World Cup 2024 will be the USA and West Indies. The ICC will organize a total of 55 matches where 20 teams will compete for the T20 World Cup Trophy. The format of the matches will be T20 International, Group Stage and Knockout.
T20 World Cup 2024 Teams
The United States and West Indies are already qualified as they are hosting the tournament. The table below shows that the other eight teams are qualified based on their performance in the last tournament. Afghanistan and Bangladesh most probably can be qualified as they are the other two from the top rankings of ICC. The remaining eight have to fight and play matches to qualify. T20 World Cup 2024 Pattern
There are a total of 20 teams who will be participating in the tournament. Primarily, the teams will be divided into groups of 4, where each group will have five teams. The top two teams from each group will move to another phase called the super eight phase. Under the super eight-phase, teams will be divided into four groups, where each group will have 2 teams. The teams who will qualify in the last phase will play in the semi-finals, and those who qualify semi-finals will play in the finals.

T20 World Cup 2024 Fixtures
The fixtures of T20 World Cup 2024 include the Date of matches, Teams who will be playing the matches, the Stadium where the matches will be played, and the dates of the Semi-finals and finals have not been officially circulated by the International Cricket Council yet.
