Strongest Man in the World 2023

It is an International competition organised in America and founded 46 years ago in 1977. It is organised by an American event management company International Management Group which has been owned by Endeavor since 2013. The Headquarters of IMG is located in New York. This competition was developed by Langstar Inc. David Webster, who acquired the most excellent order of the British Empire for his services to sport. Dr Douglas Edmunds worked with Webster in this competition.

In 1995 they formed a governing body called the International Federation of Strength Athletes. which mixed with WSM. Later many things changed, and finally, WSM was recognised after spilt with IFSA. This competition is broadcast on various channels. The recent Strongest man in the world is Tom Stoltman, who was born in 1994. He belongs to Britain and is a professional strongman competitor. He became two times the world’s strongest man and one time Britain’s most muscular man.

Hafþór won the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2018 and earned the title of Europe’s Strongest Man in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

He stands at 6 ft 8 inches and weighs a whopping 180 kg. Brian is an American professional strongman competitor and winner of the World’s Strongest Man competition four times in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016. He was also the first person to win the Arnold Strongman Classic four times in 2011, 2015, 2016, and 2018.

Zydrunas Savickas

Standing at 6 ft 3 inches and weighing 180 kg, Zydrunas is one of the most dominant strongman competitors of all time. He has won the World’s Strongest Man competition four times in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2014. Savickas also holds the record for most victories in the Arnold Strongman Classic with five wins. He is also the first person to win the IFSA Strongman World Championships and the Arnold Strongman Classic in the same year.

Vytautas is a Lithuanian professional strongman who stands at 6 ft 5 inches and weighs 180 kg. He has won Europe’s Strongest Man competition four times in 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016. He has also been a contender in the World’s Strongest Man competition, having placed second in 2017 and third in 2018.

Andy is a British professional strongman who stands at 6 ft 2 inches and weighs 160 kg. He is the first person to deadlift 1,000 lbs and has won England’s Strongest Man competition four times in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.

A British professional strongman who won two times World’s Strongest Man and one time Britain’s Strongest Man who stands at 6 ft 8 inches and weighs 180 kg. By winning 2021 and 2022’s World’s Strongest Man, he became the only British to win twice. He is also known as Atlas Stones, with a world record of lifting five concrete 100-180 kg balls in 16.01 seconds.

10. Martins Licis

Standing at 6 ft 3 inches, he is a professional Latvian-American strongman who is one of four to win both “World’s Strongest Man and Arnold Strongman Classic competitions.” He won WSM in 2019, Arnold Strongman Classic in 2022 and Rogue Invitational in 2021.

  1. How is Eddie, a single winner, higher than Shaw or Savickas? That makes no sense, especially since he isn't competing anymore and won't win another with a much stronger competitive field.

  2. Žydrūnas Savickas is the strongest all times. Please double check he's winning at Arnold Classic it's not mentioned here strongest in Europe.
