RTE Tamilnadu Admission 2023-24

The Department of School Education of the Government of Tamil Nadu will initiate the process by sending the circulars to the district’s CEO (Chief Education Officer). They will be directed to conduct the admission, and then the document verification will be done at the end.

The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act enables the candidate free education with a standard teacher-student ratio, aka PTRs, in the class. According to the sources, the Right to education admissions has reportedly increased in recent years. This is indeed good news as education is one of the major requirements of growing children.

RTE Tamilnadu Admission Form 2023-24

The Directorate of Matriculation Schools sent the instructions about the admission process to the state private schools. The admissions will be made at the entry-level classes in all the districts. The process of admission is likely to begin on 20th April 2023.

Application forms will be provided on the official site of the Department of School Education, TN. The candidates’ parents are required to enter details name, DOB, contact number, email ID, and other identification information. They will be required to show theirs produce their income details. The socially disadvantaged sections will be included under this.

RTE Tamilnadu Admission Age Limit 2023-24

As mentioned above, the law emphasised that any child who is of six to fourteen years of age is eligible to get free and compulsory education.

They will be admitted to neighbourhood schools where they will complete their elementary education. They will not be liable to pay any fee. The provision also has laws for the state to provide training facilities to teachers.

RTE TN Admission Last Date 2023-24

The last date till the application forms can be accepted is 18th May 2023. The candidates will be given a week’s duration to confirm their admission by joining the schools.

• Community Certificate for Disadvantage Group Candidates

• Income Certificate for Weaker Section Candidates
• Disadvantaged Group Special Category Certificate

It is also mentioned that the department is going to refund the tuition fee for those pupils entering private schools under the RTE Quota.

RTE Tamilnadu Eligibility 2023-24

The candidates will have to check the basic eligibility criteria that are given by the authorities. Check the list below.

• They shall be a resident of Tamil Nadu.
• The child’s age should be above three and below 7.
• Make sure to be admitted to an RTE Recognised School by the state government.
• The family income shall be below 1 Lakh rupees.
• The family of the child should be listed in the BPL (Below Poverty Line).
