The Punjab Police has issued vacancies to be filled for the post of Constable. The candidates who have been preparing for the police exam shall fill up the application form on time. The dates are mentioned below.

The examination will be conducted through the Computer Based Test. Any Indian citizen can fill up the application through the official site of the Punjab Police. The candidates, after selection, can be posted in the state of Punjab, India, or even abroad.
Punjab Police Constable Apply Online 2023
The portal will be open from mid-Feb for the candidates who are interested in applying. There are vacancies specifically reserved for women candidates in different categories. The selection process contains the following:
- Stage 1- Constable Application Form and Computer-Based Test (CBT)- There will be two papers, I and II. The latter will be of qualifying nature.
- Stage 2- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and a Physical Screening Test (PST) with prescribed qualifying criteria.
- Stage 3- This will be the Document Scrutiny round and the final one as well.
The candidates who will be able to crack all three rounds and are recruited will be given Rs. 19,900/- per month for three years.

Punjab Police Major Eligibility criteria:
- Age: The candidates shall be below 28 years and above 18 years to apply for the post of Constable in the Punjab police. There is relaxation provided to specific categories in this regard.
- Educational Qualifications
| i) 10+2 or its equal degree from a recognized Education Board/University. |
| ii) If you are an Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational condition shall be Matriculation. |
- Language: Punjabi in class 10th as a compulsory or elective subject or any either equivalent exam in the Punjabi language.

There will be no negative marking in the Punjab Police exam. The candidates from the categories: SC, BC, Economically Weaker Section and Ex-servicemen will have to score a mini. Of 35% marks, others shall score a min. of 40% in the first paper to be eligible for the next stage.
