OSTET Form 2023

The registration price for applicants is Rs. 500, and the examination fee is Rs. 300 for aspirants who fall under the ST and SC categories.
OSTET Eligibility Criteria 2023
To apply for the OSTET 2023 test, applicants must fulfil the eligibility requirements listed below.
Nativity
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates must be residents of the state of Odisha. The applicant must be able to read and write Odia.
Qualification in Education
The level of schooling needed varies depending on the paper the applicant plans to take.
Category-A (paper-1)
- At least 50% on the 12th-grade exam or its comparable and a two-year elementary education degree (D.El.Ed).
- A 2-year primary education certificate in conformance with NCTE and a 12th class or equivalent test with at least 45% of the possible points.
- A minimum of 50% on Class 12 or comparable tests and four years of undergraduate study in elementary school (B.El.Ed).
- 12th-grade certificate or it’s comparable with at least 50% of the possible points and a two-year education degree (Special Education).
- Two-year primary education certificate after graduation.
- Obtained a B.Ed. in line with NCTE requirements and graduated with at least a 50% average.
Category-B (paper-2)
- An undergraduate certificate with at least a 50% average and a one-year B.Ed (Bachelor in Education).
- Obtaining an elementary education certificate after two years of study.
- A bachelor’s degree in education with a minimum GPA of 45% and one year of training in compliance with NCTE.
- One year of B.Ed. and a bachelor’s degree with at least 50%. (special education).
- 12th grade or comparable, at least 50% on the exam, and a four-year bachelor’s degree in elementary education (B.El.Ed.).
- A minimum of 50% on the 12th-grade exam or its comparable, as well as four years of B.Sc. Ed, Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.A./B.Sc.
- A minimum of 50% on the 12th-grade exam or its comparable, as well as four years of B.Sc. Ed, Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.A./B.Sc.
