The Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) has no negative markings. The candidates who will be qualified through giving the exam shall be able to apply for the State Government private aided schools and private unaided schools in Odisha to teach Classes-I to VIII.
OSSTET Cut off Marks 2023
The OSSTET exam is held once a year. The cut off marks will be evaluated by keeping the following factors in consideration.
- The first one is the number of applications received by the board this year.
- The total number of vacancies available for the teachers
- The difficulty level of the OSSTET exam this year.
- Previous year’s cut off scores of the OSSTET.
The OSSTET exam comprised two papers, viz Paper 1 and Paper 2. The duration of each paper was 2 and a half hours. The questions in the paper were Multiple Choice Questions. Per question, carry 1 mark. The papers are specifically designed to examine the analyzing and interpreting ability.
