Kusum Solar Pump Yojana Registration
The KUSUM scheme was launched by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) to facilitate the farmer of the nation. The scheme promotes the installation of Solar plants on barren and unproductive land owned by the farmers.
The electricity that will be generated will be bought by DISCOM, and it will produce income for 25 years. Its maintenance is also easy.
Banks will provide a 30% loan facility. The Centre will give 30%, and the State will provide a 30% Subsidy.
The land owner will be able to earn around 60 thousand to 1 lakh rupees each hectare. Farmers can install the plant by themselves or with the help of a contractor as well.

The eligibility of the scheme is the farmer or group of farmers or Farmer Producer Organisations (FPO) or panchayat wherever the solar plant is installed should be five kilometres within reach of the electricity sub-station.

- First, go to the official site of PM-KUSUM.
- Then after that, look for the login icon on the upper right side corner.
- After clicking on it, a new page will open where you have to enter your Username and password and also the captcha code, then click on the Sign In button.
- Then your dashboard will be opened, where you can get all the information regarding the loans and transactions. And their application statuses.
