The candidate must be an Indian Citizen who completed his 12th with a minimum of 55% from a recognized board in any field. Candidate with a minimum of 19 years of age and a maximum of 25 years is eligible to apply, and there will be some relaxation for the reserved category candidates whose details can be found in the official notification. For the post of Constable or Head Constable, the candidate should be 10th pass with the same age limit as in SI and ASI.
21-30 will be the age limit for the SC/ST, CAT-01, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B direct candidates. The candidates for GM In-service can have a maximum of 35 years of age and 40 years for SC/ST, CAR-01, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B for In-service candidates. For the general and OBS category candidates, fees of Rs 250/- will be charged while filling out the form and Rs 100/- will be charged by SC. ST, CAT-01 categories.
