The Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) is an entrance examination for admission to undergraduate engineering and medical courses, such as B.Tech, B.E., MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS.
JKCET Registration 2023
The JKCET 2023 registration process will start on 4th April 2023, and the last date to apply is 24th April 2023. Applicants must fill in an online application form, which is available on the JKBOPEE official website. The JKCET Registration fee is Rs. 1200/- and the candidates must also submit all the required documents, such as educational certificates, valid ID and address proof, etc., along with the application form.

The JKCET Examination will be held in the last week of May 2023. The exam will be conducted in offline mode, with multiple–choice questions. Declaration of the result will be made in the month of June 2023. The applicants who qualify for the examination will be suitable for the counselling process and will be allotted seats in the colleges. JKCET Exam Date 2023
The JKCET exam for the year 2023 is scheduled to be held in the month of May 2023. The JKCET exam comprises two parts– Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and Biology. The exam is of three hours duration and consists of 180 multiple-choice questions. The total marks for the exam are 180, and the score is calculated on the basis of marks obtained in each subject. The JKCET exam requires the students to have a fine foundation in the subjects.
The exam also tests the general aptitude, reasoning and comprehension capability of the students. JKCET Eligibility 2023
Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) is an entrance examination accomplished by the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), Jammu and Kashmir, for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, medicine, and other professional courses. To be eligible for the JKCET exam, applicants must be citizens of India and must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from any recognized board with the lowest aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Applicants should also have passed English as a compulsory subject in their 10+2. Those who belong to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) will be given relaxation in the eligibility criteria. The Candidates who have done their 10+2 from any institute outside the state of Jammu and Kashmir must have a valid domicile certificate from the state. The selection of the applicants is based on the rank obtained in JKCET 2023.
