Candidates must possess a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and a 2–year Diploma in Elementary Education/4–year a Bachelor of Elementary Education/2–year Diploma in Education (Special Education). The qualified candidates will be eligible to teach classes 1 to 8 in the state of Gujarat.
Gujarat TET 2023
The eligibility test for recruiting special teachers will be conducted by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar, in the month of September or Oct 2023. Gujarat TET Form 2023
The exam is conducted for the recruitment of Primary (Class 1 to 5) and Secondary (Class 6 to 8) teachers in the state. Applicants Should have a Bachelor‘s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or any other equivalent qualification to apply for the exam. The registration process for Gujarat TET 2023 will start soon on the official website of the Gujarat Board of School Education. The application form must be filled in online with all the vital details.
After successful registration, candidates must pay the application fee and download the admit card. The Gujarat TET 2023 exam will be conducted online and offline. Candidates will have to answer 150 multiple-choice questions in the allotted time. The exam will be organized into two papers for Primary and secondary teachers. Those who achieve minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to receive the Gujarat TET 2023 certificate.
Gujarat TET Eligibility 2023
This exam is mandatory for applicants wanting to become state teachers. To be eligible for Gujarat TET 2023, candidates must have passed class 12th from a prominent board with at least 45% marks. They should have completed a two–year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) / Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
Candidates must also have cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) operated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by any state government. The age limit for Gujarat TET 2023 is 18–35 years as of the examination date. Applicants from the reserved category will be given age relaxation per government rules. Candidates must also be physically and mentally fit and should not have any criminal record.
Gujarat TET Documents 2023
The Gujarat TET Documents are required to be submitted to be eligible to take the Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). These documents include a valid photo ID, a valid address proof, marksheets of class 10th and 12th, and a valid teaching certificate or a degree in education. The candidate must also submit a medical certificate and a good behaviour certification.
The candidate should also complete the application form and affix the appropriate documents. The application fee must be paid online, after the application is submitted, the applicants will be allocated a hall ticket.
