Important Dates of BSEB 12th Examination

Following are the important dates from the board exams’ point of view:

• The examination will start on February 1, 2023, and will end on February 11, 2023, for all the streams of students.
• The BSEB 12th Answer Key 2023 will be circulated on the official website on March 3, 2023. You can download the answer key pdf from the official website, which is https://biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in/.
• The last date to submit the objection for rectification will be March 6, 2023. you can raise the objection on the official website, that is, https://objection.biharboardonline.com/.
• The results for BSEB 12th will probably be declared in the third week of Mach 2023.

Approximately 12 lakh students will appear for the Exam in 2023. The Board department has set question papers for all the subjects in the same manner. The exam pattern is set as below:

• The subjects, either Theoretical or Practical, will have 50% Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) in the paper. Each MCQ carry one mark.
• There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the examination.
• The remaining 50% will be subjective questions.
• The total period allotted to students to complete the Exam will be 3 hours and 15 minutes.
• Students can ask for extra supplementary if they have completed the first one.

You can follow the steps mentioned below to submit the objection in any paper of any stream:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Bihar Board, that is, https://objection.biharboardonline.com/.

Step 2: Search for the notification “Register Objection regarding the BSEB 12th Examination” in the circulated notifications on the portal. It will be the most recent circulation.

Step 3: Click on that link, which will take you to the login page.

Step 4: Log in using your credentials like Roll number and Roll code. Press Submit.

Step 5: After that subject, the subject-wise BSEB 12th Exam option will appear. Select the option(subjects like Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Psychology, Philosophy, Hindi, English, Home Science, Political Science, Geography, etc.) for which you have an objection.

Step 6: Mention your objection and request rectification in the examination department’s checking.

Step 7: Submit the fee and proceed with the rectification application. You will receive the answer from the board department for the release of the final results of the examination.

Grace Marks Policy of BSEB Exam

A maximum of 15 grace marks can be allotted to students to help them to reach 33% marks to clear the examination. BSEB follows the below-mentioned grace marks policy:

• If a candidate is short of 8% marks in one subject or 4% marks in any two subjects, then checkers will give them grace marks to reach the minimum passing criteria.
• If a candidate scores 90% marks in all other subjects, but in one of the subjects, the candidate scores 15% only, then the checkers cannot allot grace marks and pass the candidate.
